Yes — and that’s exactly the point.
The Mag Hitch Pro requires zero tools, zero drilling, and zero modifications to your truck. Here’s the entire install process:
1. Clean a flat steel surface on your truck bed wall
2. Press the Mag Hitch Pro flat against it
3. Slide your hitch in
That’s it. The three 120-lb neodymium magnets do all the work. It holds through highway speeds, rough roads, and daily driving — tested for a full week with a loaded draw hitch without moving an inch.
No brackets. No straps. No holes in your bed. If you want to reposition it, just pull it off and move it. Takes two seconds.
The only requirement: your bed wall needs to be steel. Aluminum beds won’t work without adding a steel plate first. Factory spray-in liner is fine as long as it’s not extremely thick.
